Designing for Bath Gardens

Creating the perfect garden in Bath requires a deep understanding of the local landscape and architecture. We frequently work with the alkaline clay soils native to the South West, selecting robust, structural plants that naturally thrive in these conditions without requiring excessive ongoing maintenance.

Many properties in the area also feature sloped or terraced plots. We use creative terracing and retaining solutions to maximise usable space while perfectly complementing the traditional Bath stone that defines the city’s character. By sourcing appropriate materials and harmonising the hard landscaping with your property, we ensure the new garden feels authentic and grounded in its surroundings.
